Danny's Point: How to Jump on Inline Skates

From time-to-time your skating path might present an obstacle in your way. If you don’t feel like dodging you could give it a go and jump over the obstacle. Danny explains how to jump in this episode of Danny’s Point.

Once you have mastered the basics of inline skating, jumping can be easily mastered.  Having a confident approach to jumping over an object is essential. The grounds aren’t always flat and a curb or sidewalk is often elevated. If you are able to jump with the correct speed and pop you can keep that speed and continue your session uninterupted. The basics of a good jump are made of three elements:

- The approach
- The jump

- The landing

Control and speed necessary for this maneuver. Jump into the video to master these elements and you’ll be jumping in no time.
