Found a pair of skates you used back in college? Maybe some hand me down skates from a friend? Or a thrift store score? Please be aware that plastic boots can become brittle after five years. The condition of your skates is also affected by factors such as heat, humidity, and use. How often do you skate? What type of skating you do? What are the surfaces you skate on? All these factors play into the life of a skate. Always inspect your skates before you head out on them. If you notice excessive wear, cracked or brittle plastic, or if your skates are not working properly even after a repair, then it is time to replace them.

Wheel wear is normal wear and tear on your wheels. To get the most out of your wheels rotate them as they start to wear to extend the use. Watch this video to learn how to rotate your wheels.
Another way to make the wheels last longer is to upgrade the quality of the wheel. Our Supreme and Hydrogen wheels are made with higher-quality and harder urethane so they last much longer than the standard wheels that come on the Zetrablade skates. There are many factors to how wheels wear such as how hard you skate, your weight, how hot the pavement is, but rotating the wheels does prolong their life.
Please contact our MARKETING DEPARTMENT for event sponsorships or donation requests.
Our skates are sized based on athletic shoe sizes that correspond to traditional Men's and Women's sizes. In order to make it easy for people to choose the correct skate size, we have kept this consistent.
