Explain the feeling you had the first time you put on skates.
The first time I skated, I had the felling to go really fast. I was always falling, but it wasn’t a big deal. I just wanted to go faster.
What is your inspiration to keep skating?
I have the feeling I push my limits further. I have the feeling I keep improve. I cannot give up until I reach my goal. I would say that my inspiration is to push my limits again and again.
We truly believe skating makes a better world. How do you think skating makes the world a better place?
Speed skating allows me to be myself. I went though many difficult times, and I can say that speed skating allows me to canalize, to relax. It gives me power to pass through those hard moments.
How do you keep progressing and reinventing yourself?
I would say that nothing is never given. I always have to improve a movement, to work hard. I think that all that I can do will be paid back some day or another. But the key point is to believe in yourself.
What’s the most helpful tip you want to share with any skater?
There is no secret. If you want to succeed, you have to work hard. It is a motto which can match with every kind of situation. Now, it is up to you!
Imagine a world filled with animals who can skate. If you could be any of those animals what would you be and why?
I would be a wolf. It is a beautiful and a clever animal.
