Explain the feeling you had the first time you put on skates.
It was pure freedom and enjoyment; I remember it just being the most fun thing ever and wanting to instantly progress.
What is your inspiration to keep skating?
I'm constantly learning more about myself and how i skate each time I'm out skating. It keeps you feeling young and it's an amazing easy way to stay fit which is also a huge inspiration for me.
We truly believe skating makes a better world. How do you think skating makes the world a better place?
I feel it brings all cultures together , everyone sharing a common love and passion for something which is unbeatable. You can be anywhere in the world , bump into someone who skates and you have an instant connection. It's also a great way to commute with zero impact on the environment and it often brings a smile to peoples face when you skate past them.
How do you keep progressing and reinventing yourself?
I like to mx it up from time to time with different forms of skating from aggressive, free skate, recreational and even marathons. I like to challenge myself to find different things to skate, i will literally try to skate everything and anything. As long as I'm having fun it's all good. I feel there are no rules to what is possible on skates. Skate Everything!!
What’s the most helpful tip you want to share with any skater?
100% just have fun with it , do what makes you feel good. Look after your body whilst on and off the skates and know your limits. Don't over think your progress either, everyone is different and were all good at different things in one way or another. Be patient!
Imagine a world filled with animals who can skate. If you could be any of those animals what would you be and why?
I would want to be a monkey, they have lots of energy, can jump really well, hang around in social groups and they are very agile.
