The Lehigh Valley Bladers and Aveanna Healthcare are gathering on Saturday, May 11th @ 10am to show their support for our Autistic community. All proceeds will be donated to the Autism Society of Lehigh Valley. The Autism Society of Lehigh Valley helps fund events, activities and promote programs that benefit children, teens and adults with Autism as well as their families in the Lehigh Valley. Cost: $20 entrance fee for either the 5k or the 10k race. Fee includes race t-shirt! Following the race there will be a raffle for a bunch of swag from our sponsors. Water, fruit and some other goodies will be available for our participants to eat following each race, free of charge!

Location: Bob Rodale Cycling & Fitness Park at 1148 Mosser Rd Breinigsville, PA 18031 (Parking available at the venue). Race is located on the paved asphalt track (not at the banked track!).

Sign in and t-shirt pick-ups will start at 10:00am. The opening ceremony will begin at 11am followed by the 5k fun skate (all ages welcome). After the 5k fun skate, there will be a 10k race for rollerbladers and rollerskaters ages 18+ (Waivers must be signed by all ages, anyone under 18 must have a waiver signed by parent to participate). DON'T FORGET YOUR ID! PLEASE WEAR HELMETS! There will be medals for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for the 10k Mens and for the 10k Women’s race.

To my aggressive rollerblading/roller skating brothers and sisters, there will be a session planned after the event is over at Bethlehem Skateplaza! This is an outdoor concrete venue with ledges for days! This skatepark is large and fashioned right next to the Sands Casino if you’re feelin’ lucky!
