Blade Yourself 10lbs Thinner: Inline Workout

The Blade Yourself 10lbs Thinner" Inline Workout

It is true, you can actually burn more calories and fat inline skating then you can doing just about any other activity (and yes, this includes running)! But, like any form of exercise, you need to do it with intensity. Because of my constant infatuation with exercise and fitness, I am always observing people and trying to figure out what it is that sets the ‘fit’ people apart from the unfit people. I hear men and women complain that no amount of exercise ‘works’ for them. This is a hilarious statement, and completely untrue statement! While obviously diet plays a major role, exercise absolutely ‘works’…. for everyone! The problem I see is that many of these same exercise-skeptics are the same people who merely just putz along in their workouts.

In order to change your body and get to the next level, you must challenge yourself, get out of your comfort zone and for goodness sakes make it hard. No one said it is easy, but it’s invigorating and it works.

So today, I am introducing my first workout in my summer skating series. All you need is a pair of Rollerblade® inline skates, a watch and a paved road or path. Do this workout with intensity a couple times a week, or mix it up into your regular regimen and watch the pounds fly and your body transform.

Warm-Up: 5-10 minutes easy blading, start getting your body warm and your heart rate up.
