In The World: Kevin Lapierre

 

Just before the Motor Town Classic we had some words with Kevin Lapierre from Montreal Canada. He had a good time, finished 2nd and made his mark at the comp. Expect some good stuff from him in the near future.

 

Q. How are u doing?

A. I’m doing very good, presently in Toronto at my good friends house, i have some project to do with inline skating and a camera and tomorrow we are going to Detroit for MTC 2015!

 

Q. You’ve been competing a lot lately, and getting some nice results. Tell us some about it.

A. I enjoy it at the maximum, some crazy and different feeling when you have fun and doing something in return so I appreciate the present moment when I’m there!

 

Q. About to go to the Motor Town Classic, what are your expectations?

A. Yeah tomorrow I’m gonna be there, I cant wait. I like the Detroit scene and people a lot. So I have a good feeling its gonna be fun!

 

Q.You’ve got 1st at the Texas Skate Series, what was you’re best experience there?

A. Hum maybe to have a crazy good time with the Texas inline skating scene, hang out...Skating... I was there 4 days, so I need to be back soon for a couple f days because the skatespots are just incredible and creative there!!
 


 

Q. Skating in the states often?

A. Yeah its fun. I like the US

 

Q. You’re from Montreal Canada, how is the scene over there?

A. Pretty good I think, I am not living there anymore! But i can see my friends there are skating a lot and create a event sometimes and they have great skaters from Venezuela, France ... Came here to skate so that’s a good thing!

 

Q. Upcoming plans?

A. Yes I have some projects coming up, I have just talked with Tom H. So I’m gonna skate like I do normally and create something cool in the same times I’m traveling! Just the thing I like to do.

 

Q. Best thing about being part of the Rollerblade Family?

A. Great conversations, great vibe, great time. Can’t wait for the next trip

 

Q. Your motivation to skate?

A. Hum I think for now its just too think about something else

 

Q. Apart from aggressive you do other disciplines and why?

A. Not really for now, hang out with my girlfriend. Take time with my buddies. Skate my 2015 Twister 80mm sometimes.

 

Q. Last but not least with what setup you shred so hard?

A. Fusion boots from last year, intuition liner, gc3 frames and my signature Kevin Lapierre scribe wheels
