Explain the feeling you had the first time you put on skates:
The feeling I had was happiness mixed with fear, but also excitement, the emotion of not knowing what was going to happen. And that feeling is still the same today. Every session is unpredictable. You never really know how it’s going to turn out until you put your skates on and start skating.
What is your inspiration to keep skating?
My main inspiration is progress, but also the emotional side of skating. Improving is the key, but the feelings that come with it are just as important. Skating helps me grow not only as a skater, but also as a person, and that motivates me to keep going.
We truly believe skating makes a better world. How do you think skating makes the world a better place?
Skating creates connection, culture, and acceptance. It brings people together no matter their background, language, or age. It gives people a place to belong, to express themselves, and to feel part of something. And that energy spreads beyond the park.
How do you keep progressing and reinventing yourself?
I focus a lot on mindset and consistency. I try to push myself without creating too much pressure, taking things step by step, without rushing but without stopping. I respect my own timing and understand that everyone progresses differently. When something doesn’t work the usual way, I try to be creative and explore other options. Reinventing myself means staying curious and open to learning.
What’s the most helpful tip you want to share with any skater?
Don’t compare your journey to anyone else’s. Progress looks different for everyone. Trust your timing, respect your fears, and keep showing up, that’s where real growth happens.
Imagine a world filled with animals who can skate. If you could be any of those animals what would you be and why?
I would be a panther. Calm, focused, and powerful. A panther moves with intention, confidence, and patience, qualities I try to bring into my skating and my life.
