El Rollerblade® Speed Team: Éxito en 2018

Después de siete meses de entrenamiento dedicado e intensas carreras, el Rollerblade® Speed Team definitivamente puede llamar al 2018 un gran éxito. Hubo más de 30 podios esta temporada, algunos de ellos inolvidables. Bajo la dirección de Ewen Fernández, la camaradería del equipo fue claramente evidente en cada carrera. Al mismo tiempo, cada miembro mejoró sus niveles individuales de rendimiento atlético durante la temporada de siete meses.

Todo comenzó en marzo en varias carreras muy diversas. La primera victoria vino de Ewen Fernández en el National Indoors. Unos días después, el equipo estaba al aire libre en el lluvioso Treviso, su tierra natal. Fue una carrera completamente diferente, pero el mismo ganador, Ewen, volvió a triunfar. Ewen demostró que era posible tener un buen desempeño en cualquier lugar y en cualquier condición: bajo techo, pista, lluvia, maratones montañosos e incluso en carreras de 100k.


Carrera tras carrera, el equipo se hizo más fuerte y más sincronizado. Los vínculos reforzados entre los patinadores los llevaron a ganar el Trofeo Tres Pistas y a llevarse una medalla de plata en la pista de Heerde (ambas Copas de Europa).

Las armas jóvenes también demostraron que estaban progresando rápidamente con el equipo. Doucelin Pédicone ganó en Madrid y Quentin Giraudeau ganó medallas en el Campeonato de Europa. Mike Paez solidificó sus logros al ganar varios podios en los Juegos Centroamericanos. Para colmo, Guillaume de Mallevoue obtuvo una importante victoria en el Maratón de Lyon, así como el cuarto lugar en Berlín.

El Rollerblade® Speed Team ganó la clasificación general por equipos del llamado Coupe de France Marathon Roller, la Copa de Francia de maratón en línea. También terminó segundo del ranking de la World Inline Cup. Ewen Fernández concluyó la temporada con un segundo lugar en Berlín, un segundo lugar en el ranking general de la World Inline Cup, y un primer lugar en el ranking general de la Copa de Francia.

No podemos esperar de estar en 2019!
