Explain the feeling you had the first time you put on skates.
Freedom!
What is your inspiration to keep skating?
I draw inspiration from my skate friends and the joyous experiences skating has drawn me to. I try to prioritize my physical health and mental wellness, so continuous skating enables me to do this. I plan to skate for as long as I can walk!
We truly believe skating makes a better world. How do you think skating makes the world a better place?
Outside of pure joy and fun, I’ve seen skating unite and heal people. It also teaches patience, progress, and perseverance.
How do you keep progressing and reinventing yourself?
I try new things that make me nervous, and skate with other people. I’m more inspired and willing to try new skills when I’m skating with the homies.
What’s the most helpful tip you want to share with any skater?
Connect with your local skate community, and if there isn’t one, start one!
Imagine a world filled with animals who can skate. If you could be any of those animals what would you be and why?
I would be a bird, an albatross specifically, so I could easily fly to other countries and skate with my animal friends. And I could continuously bomb hills with ease, by flying back to the top of the hill.
